A'salam...

berbagai booth yg menyediakan info2 kpd org ramai...

???BETUL TAK???

wassalam

Assalamualaikum,

I have actually been to the Expo ... actually, it was not held only at Muis but I believe it was held in various places such as 1Borneo before. But most probably, it's just individual mindset that would only assume MUIS is for the Moslem. As one would know, MUIS is not as "happening" as the shopping complexes around town because it has more Office spaces for official business than casual stores for shopping... Let's face the fact... But how would one help to change it?

Probably one could put there on advertisement "Open to Public ~ Moslem/Non-Moslem are welcome" or maybe other "friendlier" approach to make it known...

However,it's not really entirely true that Expo such as this is for Moslem...there were non-moslem who attended the Expo too. I brought some of my non-moslem friends to have a look around. Because advertisement can only help to a certain extend but as individual's involvement in events such as this, it could go further by word of mouth or perhaps a little invitation to the non-moslem friends to join maybe say "for a little shopping" or "checking out" the latest event in town and at the same time, we could actually let them have some exposure about event such as this in the future...it just needs a little effort to go far right?

**Bazaar Ramadhan doesn't need much advertisement even... because people are made aware that you are bound to expect this during the Fasting month... by word of mouth... by tagging along with friends etc other than advertisement... although it's a different product but perhaps the idea is there for us to adapt.

A'salamualaikum...

Saya juga amat bersetuju dengan hujah yang diberikan oleh MyQa...advertisement can only do so little..where as we,individually, have to play our own part too to make it successful...
You push an inch they move an inch...that is human nature, sometimes we need others to motivate us and guide us along the way...but how successful it is depends on how determine you want to do it....

The rest is up to you,me,us as a whole community....

A'salam

terlupa seperkara, mungkin perlu disentuh tentang pemakaian ketika berkunjung ke sana untuk non-muslim/pelancong asing agar tidak menjadi kontrovesi kelak jika betul2 open to public...
